Two grocery shops that have fresh food. Two shops that sell bread, one is a full bakery, there is a fishmonger shop, that is open on Wednesdays & Saturdays and each Saturday there is a farmers’ market.

There are a number of bars which serve tapas and a restaurant on the main road which also has an Eco shop attached to it.

There is a sweet shop.  There is a post office open in the mornings, a library with computers for people to use, there is a bank cash machine, medical centrer, pharmacy, municipal pool (open in the summer months) large football pitch, 2 kids parks, tennis court, table tenis tables, outdoor exercise gym, zip line (for kids) forest for walking, petrol station, furniture shop.

The town hall are very pro-active in organising activities for the community such as art/sewing/spanish classes/computer training, yoga/aqua aerobics/ swimming lessons/fun runs/football tournaments/ferias/festivals.

During July the village celebrates its annual feria del Carmen & in October there is a very good artisan products fair. August is cultural month where there is an open air cinema in the plaza each night a film for kids and a later film for adults.

Montecorto is a great place to live and a great place to enjoy holidays. The village is very welcoming of newcomers and it is also a very safe place to live/visit.
