For sale direct from the owners!

This large and super stylish 2 bedroom townhouse has been lovingly renovated by the current owners to create a beautiful blend of charm and character mixed with stylish contemporary finishes and modern comforts.

The renovation has included the façade, plumbing and electrics throughout and the fabulous front door which is a custom-made steel frame and walnut wood effect front door. The windows have been replaced with very high-quality custom-made PVC double glazed wood effect units throughout with mosquiteras (anti-insect blinds).

The kitchen is large, well fitted and comes with all the usual appliances and the bathrooms are stylish and contemporary with white suites, walk in showers and fully tiled.

Where possible the owners have retained as much of the original character by retaining wooden ceiling beams and stonework. A stunning blend of the charm of the old and the benefits of a modern interior.

What marks this house as different from many available is that you can enjoy the property immediately but the top floor gives scope for further accommodation – create a studio space, hobby room or more bedrooms. Also, the first-floor terrace is the perfect space for relaxing, entertaining and extends the living space for much of the year.

The property is connected to a super-fast 600mbps fibre-optic internet service and the house is wired to provide this to Wi-Fi routers on the upper floors which is perfect for those wishing to work remotely.

Free street parking is available just 30 meters from the house.

The layout of the property…

The ground floor contains a spacious entrance/reception room that retains much of the original character of stonework, lime painted walls and ceiling beams.

To the rear, a doorway leads to a fully soundproofed studio and office space with wood laminate flooring which could alternatively be used as an additional bedroom.

To the left there is also a tool room with shelving, and a firewood storage area, where firewood can be delivered and loaded directly from the street via the bodega door. At the rear of the studio room there is a utility area room that houses an 80L water cylinder that supplies hot water to the property, and a gas bottle that supplies gas to the kitchen directly above.

The first floor is accessed from the stairway in the entrance hall and leads to the spacious, dual aspect living space with French doors that open onto a balcony at the front and French doors that open onto a beautiful Spanish tiled enclosed terrace full of plants and climbers and a long Spanish-tiled dining table.

A great summer space for BBQing and dining. There is also a small shed for storage. Outside space is vital in Spain and this first-floor terrace really does extend the usable space in the house.

A small hallway leads from the living room into a large modern open plan kitchen and dining area, with the original wood ceiling beams. The kitchen is super stylish with plenty of storage space and equipped with a gas hob, electric oven and extractor hood and a tall fridge freezer. There is also an original traditional pantry cupboard.

There is a large newly installed 11kw wood burning stove complete with a very large oven that was installed in 2021, complete with new chimney flue. A door also leads to a fully tiled and modern washroom with sink and WC and shower room with rainfall type shower and glass shower screen.

The second floor comprises a secondary living room with wood laminate flooring that is currently used as a movie lounge. This could also be used as an additional bedroom.

To the front of the second floor is the large master bedroom with wardrobes and wood ceiling beams and French doors onto a small balcony.

A second door from the living/movie room leads to a wood beamed cosy double bedroom with new a PVC wood effect 2m long sliding window that overlooks the terrace.

To the rear of the living room, a further door leads to a large shower room with rainfall type shower, WC and sink and fitted units enclosing a washing machine and storage shelves. All doors on this floor are old original wood doors from the original house.

The third floor offers a huge amount of flexibility and opportunity with a large undeveloped attic space, over 13m in length and at the far end is approximately 5.5m high. This is currently used as a laundry, drying room and storage space. With great potential for development, this space could become a hobby room, studio space or even be converted into further bedrooms.
