About the area
Almogia is a very old village a (pueblo blanco), set into the hillside and dates back to Moorish times. The village has bars/restaurants, shops and a good size supermarket. It also boasts a 24 hr medical centre with on stand-by ambulance, sports facilities and a large outdoor municipal swimming pool that is open during summer months.
Campanillas is the next major town you will come to on the way South to Málaga with petrol station, large supermarket and more restaurants, plus access onto the motorway.
Pastelero, then Villanueva de la Concepción are the next hamlet and small town North of the villa. Many enjoy the well renowned bars and restaurants, serving very good quality local dishes and tapas.
Malaga city or Antequera city are available to you (Malaga to the South & Antequera to the North) both are beautiful cities with very historic old towns.
