Location – Los Ventorros and Comares

The property is situated just 450mtrs from the small village of Los Ventorros which in turn is just 5mins from the hilltop village of Comares.  Los Ventorros benefits from a good bar/restaurant called El Molino which has regular live music and is a focul point for locals of all nationalities.

There is a bus service running from and through Los Ventorros which takes you to either the coast or Malaga – great for a day at the beach or a wander around Malaga city.

Comares is one of the highest “pueblos blancos” in Andalucía and is one of the easiest villages to see as it towers above the Axarquia region of Malaga.  It can seem as though the village is isolated because of its height but it is less than an hour to Malaga and the airport and with Torre del Mar just down the road, it is well connected to the coastal motorway, the beautiful beaches and resorts of the Axarquia.

Within Comares, is a Coviran supermarket, a chemist and a doctor’s surgery – the doctor and the lady that runs the chemist both speak very good English.

There is also a market held in the town square most Saturday mornings.

The Axarquia is one of the most popular areas within the Malaga province – miles of beautiful coastline, coastal towns and resorts such as Torre del Mar and Velez Malaga give you plenty of shopping options, cultural events and of course beaches!
