This charming country villa is located in a peaceful environment a short drive from the centre of Casabermeja, the A45 motorway and the famous Montes de Malaga Natural Park. This home really does offer the best of both worlds – a quiet location to enjoy the countryside and wildlife but not isolated and within easy reach of local amenities, bars and restaurants.
The owners have rented out the house very successfully for the past 12 years and it would therefore make the ideal holiday home – come and enjoy the villa for holidays and for those of friends or family but rent the house out to paying guests when not in use. With a weekly income of as much as €1,339, the property can easily pay for itself and be a comfortable holiday home for you and your family. Equally, if you are looking for a permanent home in a traditional area, surrounded by beauty and tranquillity this would easily fit the bill. As mentioned previously, the location doesn’t mean you are isolated – good access to Casabermeja, Malaga, the airport and the rest of Andalucía, this is the perfect place from which to explore and enjoy the whole of Andalucía.
The villa itself is a good size – nearly 200M2 of built meters and with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plenty of space for the whole family. The master bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom and there is a degree of flexibility in terms of how the house is used going forward. Currently, the owners have a large living room with a feature stone fireplace and inset wood burning stove. There is a separate dining room which is where the house is entered and leads through to the living room.
The kitchen is well fitted with built in storage, granite worksurfaces, fitted appliances and there is also a separate utility room with plumbing, storage space and outside access.
The bedrooms are all generous – the master bedroom is very large with French doors opening onto the swimming pool terrace and gardens. This room has a real sense of luxury and with an en-suite bathroom and separate shower cubicle, it really does feel like the master suite.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 are both a good size and share the family bathroom.

The electric gated access into the villa takes you onto the private driveway where you have a large car port and storeroom and space for several cars. Automatic irrigation makes life easy and with mature planted areas, mature trees and country views it has a peaceful feel.
The property is located just a short drive to Casabermeja – a traditional village which has an abundance of local facilities including bars and restaurants, medical facilities, shops and schools. The village is just 15mins from Malaga and 20mins to the airport which make this the ideal position for enjoying country life but with easy access to the coast and Malaga.
The motorway also provides great access to the rest of Andalucía – visiting the cities of Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada is easy and a stop off in Antequera will always provide you with a pleasant and historic walk around the centre.
The village of Casabermeja has all the amenities including 2 banks, various small supermarkets and a large one, bakeries, fishmonger, 24 hours health centre and wonderful restaurants. There are 2 padel courts and a tennis court. There is a lovely old church in the village and the local cemetery is a national monument and has featured in many Spanish television programmes. There are lots of places locally to go for long leisurely walks and the national park of El Torcal with it’s moonscape walks is only 30 minutes away. Horse riding can also be enjoyed locally. A weekly market operates every Friday until 2pm with fruit, vegetables, shoes and clothes. In June there is a 4 day feria (fair) for Corpus Cristi with traditional and popular live music and many activities for children. In August there is another 4 day feria. Colmenar is a 16 minute drive. Comares is of particular interest with narrow car free streets and stunning views to the mountains and coast from its main plaza.
To the east of Malaga there are many coastal towns but Nerja is particularly nice with the Balcon de Europa and the Caves of Nerja 50 minutes from Casabermeja. Malaga itself is a lovely city, full of culture, it is the birthplace of Picasso and you can visit his home and the Picasso museum. Malaga has more museums than any other city in Andalucía; over 30 at last count – and new ones are opening all the time. Learn about the city through its wine, at the Wine Museum; its social history and customs, from the collection of 19th-century paintings at the new Carmen Thyssen museum; and its famous local personalities, such as the painter Felix Revello del Toro. For more art and design delights, you can visit museums of contemporary art, archaeology or glass.
