For sale direct from the owners!
This spacious house was built in 2019 by a local Spanish builder and is offered for sale in excellent condition. Modern fittings, high-quality build and finishing touches that make this a very comfortable year-round home for permanent living but it also works perfectly as a “lock and leave” holiday home.
The location is perfect for integrating into this traditional, Spanish village. There are a number of bars/restaurants within walking distance as are all other local amenities including banks, town hall, chemist and a variety of shops.
Whilst the village itself is very popular with locals and visitors, the popularity of the village is very connected to the countryside around it. Stunning mountain views, the rolling countryside of the Serranía de Ronda and the stunning lake at Grazalema make this a popular destination for walkers, nature lovers, cyclists and artists.
The limiting factor for many village houses is outside space and a swimming pool – this house offers both!
Being able to enjoy the best of the weather and relax and entertain outside are key factors in Spanish life and the house offers a large rear terrace with a swimming pool which connects beautifully with the living room. A set of steps takes you up to a further rooftop terrace which is partly covered to provide shade and the rest is open for sunbathing or star gazing.

A staircase rises from this terrace to the rooftop terrace.

This top terrace has, as you can imagine, the best views of the surrounding mountains across the top of the village.
Montejaque, Ronda and the Serrania de Ronda
Montejaque is a charming white village (pueblo blanco) with several small supermarkets, bars serving tapas and restaurants as well as banks and a school. It is a centre for many cultural and sporting events throughout the year. Visitors enjoy bird-watching, cycling, horse riding and touring around the many white villages nearby and the historic town of Ronda.
If a visit to Ronda is on the agenda, this historic town can be reached within 15 minutes and offers a wide range of shopping, cultural and dining options. The town is perched on a plateau above a dramatic gorge splitting the town in two and is spanned by the famous 18th century bridge famous around the world.
The Serrania de Ronda includes two natural parks – the Sierra de Grazalema and the Sierra de las Nieves which makes this one of the most beautiful and dramatic areas within the whole of Andalucia.
The area attracts bird watchers, walkers and everyone who enjoys nature and offers some of the most unspoilt countryside to explore.
