This beautiful parcel of land is located within the Los Juncares valley just north of the popular village of Guajar Alto in the Granada Province.
Known as Los Guajares, the three villages in the area have been a popular destination for buyers wanting to escape the stress of modern life. The valley is a tranquil place to explore unspoiled countryside and a more traditional way of life.

The current owner has stayed on the land in a mobile touring caravan which is permissable however, it is unlikely that you would get permission for any permanent residential structure. It would be possible to create a storage or tool shed.
There is a large water deposit located on the land which holds around 85,000litres so the watering for existing trees and any future planting is no problem at all.
There is also an “alberca” which were often used as a water deposit but have, in many cases, been converted into plunge pools.
The wildlife on the land and in the area is incredibly diverse – beautiful butterflies visiting the terraces when the olive trees are in bloom. Multicolored tailed small lizards/geckos are everywhere and occasionally wild boar will visit to mop up any fallen olives along with foxes, badgers and mountain deer. Quail and Partridge are also to be seen.
In the Spring the mountains come alive with the most beautiful wild flowers.

Guajar Alto and Los Guajares…
The land is located about ten mins walk down the mountain into this popular village. Guajar Alto has plenty of facilities for day to day life including Cafe bar Olivo and bar Carmen in the square.
There is also a small supermarket for groceries and general shopping although the larger coastal town of Motril is a 20 min’s drive down the valley. Motril offers a large mixture of food shops and for other shopping.
Beautiful Granada is 45 mins away with the skiing village in the Sierra Nevada Alpujarra Mountains.
