Guadalhorce Golf Course is located just 25 mins’ South of Almogia or at the end of the route that takes you down to the coast is Parador del Golf that is on the beach and flanked by sand dunes.  Parador del Golf can be reached in approx. 40 mins’ drive.


One of the best and relatively unknown hidden gems of a beach is; Los Alamos Beach.  This is located immediately West of Parador del Golf (40 mins’ drive) and runs from the golf course into Torremolinos.  It is loved by the Spanish but little known by foreign visitors and is backed by superb chiringuitos beach bars and restaurants with something for everyone from fish restaurants to burger bars, to cocktail clubs and even a gluten free restaurant.  A long promenade runs along the entire strip of beach and you can walk, roller blade or cycle from the golf course through Los Alamos, Torremolinos, to Benalmadena and beyond to Fuengirola!

Malaga city & airport

Historic and beautiful Malaga city and contemporary marina can be reached by driving directly South through the Guadalhorce valley in approximately 50 minutes.
