For sale direct from owner!

This astonishing home in summary

♦  Newly for sale via the global property market, with offers invited!

♦  A home for those who do not want to see or hear neighbours, yet who want to be able to walk 1.5km, 15 mins on an old Roman road to a well renowned country venta, bar/restaurant to eat superb local cuisine.

♦  Ideal for buyers who do not mind a 4 minute drive on a well maintained dirt track to reach their home and a further 6 minutes to reach the village of Burunchel that has superb amenities for it’s size to include, two hotels with great restaurants, independent shops, three supermarkets, a petrol station and medical centre.  Then you can drive on to La Iruela 12km, 18 mins for even more amenities and then Cazorla town which is 14km, 20 mins drive where you will find everything for modern day living.

♦  You may be off the beaten track here but you can call an ambulance to your door if required and there is even a mountain rescue/stretcher service on-stand-by at all times!

♦  120M2 built with an additional 20M2 of ruin that is on the deeds and could be re-built and absorbed into the property if desired.  Four plots of land that add up to 15,207 of land.

♦  3 double bedrooms and 1 spectacular bathroom. The bathroom was hand crafted by the current owner in mosaic to create stunning images.  This is from floor to ceiling and it is astonishing!

♦  The house was reformed on a licence by the current owners in 2012.  The build features a concrete and metal roof with high specification insulation and topped with rustic roof tiles. Security double glazing to windows and doors because the owners ideally did not want metal bars at the windows but they sadly had to in order to insure the property.  They have blended rustic and contemporary very cleverly to benefit from modern comforts, yet the home has the feeling of being a traditional finca.

♦  The house is powered by a huge solar panel that automatically tracks the sun and then energy is stored in banks of batteries and a modern system ensures there is always enough power for the house.

♦  Water is from the mains, however the current owners fill their summer pool from the river each Spring and the river could be used to water vegetables if grown down by the river which borders the land.  The cost for main water is low at 18 Euros per month for water and rubbish collection.

♦  This property is ideal for buyers who want to get away from the frantic pace of modern day living to write, create art, practice yoga or perhaps benefit from mindfulness surrounded by nature.  Equally, an eco life could be enjoyed here if created.

♦  This property offers an olive orchard of 30 mature trees, a private forest and an intimate and pretty front terrace with huge pomegranate tree for shade. There is also a roof terrace with views of El Puerto de las Palomas on the edge of El Parque Natural de Las Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas.

♦  It would be possible to live an almost self sufficient life on this land if that was desired.  There is ample water under the land and a well or bore hole could be dug to complement the mains water.  Produce could easily be grown too and even livestock kept.  Pigs would thrive under the trees in the forest.  Chickens would also do very well here.

♦  The forest and olive orchard ensures the house has wood to fuel 3 stoves burning 4 months of the year to ensure a warm and comfortable home (living room, 2nd bedroom/music room and the kitchen).  If additional wood is required, there are local suppliers who will bring wood.  The annual cost to heat the house with olive and oak is 300 Euros per year.

♦  There is an outbuilding that could be used for any purpose required – a workshop, store room, hobby room etc.

♦  Culture events are not far away in La Iruela where open air performances take place in the amphitheatre to include flamenco, pop and rock concerts.  There are shops in Cazorla that sell organic produce and organic products.  The open air swimming pool in La Iruela is open all summer and as residents of the municipality you have use of this amazing pool in the most breathtaking setting at very low cost all summer long.

Broadband Internet is via satellite with a speed fast enough to stream Netflix efficiently.  A phone is available via the same company that supplies the Internet. The Internet connection costs 47 Euros per month.
