Binibeca Vell and southern Menorca…

The location of this villa is a real delight – a peaceful location but not isolated.  The coastline is dramatic with many secluded coves and beautiful golden beaches to visit. There is something for everyone, whether you’re after a relaxing day at an intimate cove, water sports and tourist attractions or exotic beaches.

From the villa to the local shops and restaurants is a 6 to 7 minute walk (350 metres). There is a shortcut with steps that leads down to the shops, bars, restaurants at Cala Torret and another 3 minutes to the beach at Playa Binibeca. There are a number of restaurants in Cala Torret – Paupa Bar, Los Bucaneros on the beach, Sa Cova chill out lounge and restaurant and a number of others.

Local facilities also include a bakery where they make the tastiest esaimadas and where you can enjoy a coffee or breakfast too, as well as a local supermarket.

There are ample and excellent restaurants on the island. Spanish cuisine has many cultural influences from around the Mediterranean. The sea food is delicious and the island uses mainly local products which are very fresh and tasty!
