Location and surroundings

Iznajar village dates back to Moorish times and has a huge array of shops, bars, restaurants and other modern facilities including a health centre, banks, post office and sports facilities.

The lake is a huge attraction and during the summer, the beach becomes a hive of activity with water sports available.

For supermarkets, further facilities and even a hospital there are a range of options including Rute and Antequera, a city now famous for its “dolmens” (recently granted World Heritage status and the famous EL Torcal Natural Park.
