Overview of the property
This immaculate and beautifully finished end of terrace home is located just outside the popular lakeside town of Iznajar. The property is spacious at 266M2, set over 3 floors and tastefully presented. The construction is to a very high standard.
A wonderful roof terrace previously accommodated a four person whirlpool. There is ample space for sun loungers and a shaded dining/seating area with built-in fridge space. There are 360 degree and panoramic, taking in mountains and countryside. The roof terrace is a very private, where you can soak up the sun, cool off in a whirlpool or dine in the shade. At sunset, the colours around you are stunning.
The villa is currently laid out to offer 6 bedrooms (4 doubles and 2 singles), 3 bathrooms, a formal lounge, a very spacious kitchen/living/dining room, a utility room, a cloakroom/w.c. close to the living rooms and kitchen, plus several balconies.
The villa is at the end of terrace, located in the heart of the small but very friendly village of La Celada, just a few minutes’ drive from Iznajar town centre. The property has space around it on three sides, more like a villa in a rural setting than a traditional town house. The village has a great community feel and is surrounded by farm land and mountains.
In La Celada, just steps away from the house are a traditional and tranquil tapas bar and a shop that seems to sell everything! Also, very conveniently located, is the area’s most popular restaurant called El Charcon that serves meat, fish and vegetables cooked over charcoal. It is only 1.3km away – under 20 mins’ walk or 3 mins’ by car.
Then just 5 mins’ by car brings you to the largest sports lake in Andalucia, Lake Iznajar, with sandy beach and swimming pools.
The property is currently a successful holiday let called Casa La Celada complete with tourism licence. Although, it has historically been enjoyed as a versatile private home with art studio, office and private gym.
The property accommodates a maximum of 10 adults and one cot at full commercial occupancy (but of course, the twin rooms can accommodate children as opposed to adults if preferred).
This glorious home could be enjoyed as a 4 double/twin bedroom home with 3 bathrooms plus cloak room/w.c. The single bedrooms on the top floor could be re-purposed into, perhaps, a kitchenette and bar to complement the alfresco fun to be had on the roof terrace. There is a bathroom on the top floor for use when on the roof terrace.
This beautiful home could be described as an upside down house as the reception rooms and kitchen are on the 1st floor to take advantage of the lovely views and balconies.
This holiday letting property can function immediately, with the buyer’s lawyer changing the names on the tourism licence. All the required tourism inspections have been done with a tourism licence (VTAR/CO/00190) issued.
Having air-conditioning and oil fired central heating to radiators, plus wood burning stoves, this property can easily be holiday let year round. Outdoor activity/sporting enthusiasts or nature lovers often prefer to holiday out of season. It has already been proved that holiday makers will pay the same rate, summer or winter. Over €800 can be charged per week.
