The gated entrance leads to a long driveway with space for parking 2 or 3 cars and plenty more if needed.
The gardens are a delight with an established palm a real focal point alongside the swimming pool.
As you approach the house, you enter a large front terrace which makes the most of the views and is the ideal space to relax or dine – it is large enough to easily take a dining table and chairs as well as a soft seating area. Gardens and swimming pool…
The gardens are a delight – the front gardens are dominated by a glorious palm tree which sits on the grass lawn that surrounds the swimming pool.
The pool is a good size with a sun bathing area and the lawns to enjoy. The pool benefits from a heat exchange unit which can heat the water and therefore extends the use of the pool to year round.
There are a number of established trees and mature plants which give the gardens colour at different times of the year. There’s even a number of olive trees which remain in leaf all year round.
The rear gardens provide space for a storage shed and at the side of the property is a further store and wood store.
There is a flat terrace at the back of the garden which could easily be adapted to create a further terrace for seating.

La Higuera, Villanueva de la Concepcion and El Torcal…
This area is very popular with people looking for a relaxed environment without being too far from the airport, Antequera and Malaga and the coastal strip. A 50min drive will get you to Malaga and the Airport and a 25min drive around El Torcal will get you to Antequera, a city with masses of history and charm.
The immediate area around the house is famous for its goats cheese which you can buy directly from the manufacture, just a few minute’s walk away. La Higuera is a small community but there is a school, a local shop and a bar. It is also on a bus route to Villanueva de la Concepcion and Antequera.
The backdrop to the area is the famous El Torcal Natural Park – a huge limestone mountain which is being found by many more tourists than ever before having been put forward for World Heritage status.
The area gives you a real feeling of living in a Spanish rural community but you are not cut off from the services, shopping or cultural events available in Antequera or Malaga.
