Location

Llombai is located south west and inland from the city of Valencia.  The property has great access via the quality network of roads to various local villages, to include Llombai itself which is 8.3km away and a 14 minute drive.  Llombai has a population of just over 2,500 and has amenities for every day living, including an excellent doctor’s surgery, shops, bars and restaurants.  Llombai hosts a Medieval market/festival in January where the town is transformed and thousands of people come out to enjoy the atmosphere.  The town has links to the Borgias and still pays tribute at this festival.

El Palmar and paella… Valencia is where paella originated and just 40 minutes drive away from Llombai, in El Palmar, you can sample the traditional dish in many very popular paella restaurants.  Afterwards a boat trip around the lake in El Palmar can be taken at a very reasonable price.

Catadau is located 3.4km away and just a 6 minute drive.  It is a village adjacent to Llombai with a population of approximately 3,000.  It is a bustling town with all manner of amenities including; schools, banks, doctors, many different shops and plenty of bars and restaurants.  The area is surrounded by beauty with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. The main fiesta/street party in Catadau is the Moors and Christian’s parade in early August.

There is a metro bus from Catadau which takes you directly into Valencia. Or the metro bus will take you into Carlet to pick up a train connection into Valencia.

Carlet is located 13.4km and a 17 minute drive away.  Here the population is 15,000 and you will find larger supermarkets and even more amenities, including a large emergency medical centre and a metro train station that goes directly into Valencia.

Benifaio is located 15km away and here you will find the nearest mainline train station that takes you into Valencia, close to the bullring.

L’Alcudia is a large town 17km away and a 24 minute drive away. The town has a population of 12,000 and is busy and bustling.  Here you will find everything needed for modern day living.  If L’Alcudia does not have what you want, Valencia city is not too much further away.

Valencia city centre is an easy 40 minute drive.  It is a vibrant city with access to a host of cultural history, mixed with modern architecture.  The famous Fallas is an event not to be missed in March.  Events run from 1st to the 19th March, culminating with the burning of the incredible statues.  There are two main train stations next to each other in the centre that serve the whole of Spain, including the high speed AVE every two hours to Madrid.

Valencia International airport is a comfortable 40 minute drive.

Various beaches along the Valencian coastline can be reached easily within 40 minutes drive and access to the main coastal motorway also ensures you can explore the whole of the Costa Azahaar, the Orange Blossom Coast and the Costa Blanca, as desired.
