♦ The land is flat with different zoned areas surrounded by beautiful gardens and orchards. There is a walnut orchard, several fruit trees (apple, pear, fig, quince, and pomegranate). The orchard and gardens are irrigated. There is a chill out area with hammocks and swing seat in the olive orchard, a huge heated swimming pool with surrounding sun terrace, an alfresco bar has comfy seating, fridge, darts board, BBQ and more. Plus a playground for little ones to enjoy, a giant chess board, garden games and a badminton area as well as pretty pathways around the property.
♦ The property is connected to mains electricity and both cottages plus the pool area are connected to fast unlimited WiFi, enough to stream International TV. Each house has Spanish and British TV currently.
♦ There are three water wells on the property and a pump room that pumps the water up into water deposits to feed water to the cottages and also for filling the swimming pool.
♦ Within walking distance are two restaurants and bars. One is within a 4 star hotel and the other is a more relaxed restaurant. Both serve ‘menu of the day’ at lunchtime for around ten Euros to include a drink, starter, main dish and dessert. They are also open in the evening. There is a safe overpass road to walk across to reach the hotel on the other side of the motorway. There are also 2 small shops and a fruit and veg market close by.
♦ The location of the property makes it perfect for easy access out onto the A45 which will take you quickly into Antequera city. Antequera is only 11 kms away and takes only 10 minutes to get there by car. Or you can be whisked down to Malaga city in 35 minutes or to the coast and beaches in 40 minutes. The airport is equally 40 minutes away. What is also superb about the location is the easy access by road to Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada, Ronda and beyond.
♦ Rail links are excellent too. Antequera will very soon have a larger city railway station and the AVE high speed train will stop in the city centre. From here you can also take the normal trains currently. A little further North are Bobadilla and Santa Ana railway station and easily reached from the house. From Bobadilla you have a wider service to link you to the major cities of Andalucia and beyond.
♦ Walnut Farm is tranquil, peaceful and relaxing. It is close to the El Torcal Natural Park that has unique rock formations and fabulous wildlife. You can follow the shorter green trail or the longer yellow trail throughout the park and see wild Ibex (a cross between antelope from Africa introduced by the Moors and goats from Southern Spain). Griffon vultures will circle overhead and other birds of prey can be seen too. It is a very special natural park and part of Antequera on the Southern border.

Lynne the British owner has housekeepers who look after the property who are also British. As does Lynne, they speak English and Spanish.
