For sale direct from the owners!

This charming village house, located on a pedestrian-only street, has been fully reformed and is presented in good condition throughout with a modern fitted kitchen, stylish modern bathroom and light, bright accommodation.

The location offers the best of both worlds, the peace and security of a traffic-free zone but just 50m from the nearest restaurant, even less to a bakery, and a few more metres to the main street of the village.

It is no wonder the guests who stay here leave such positive reviews!

The house is successfully run as a tourism rental and comes with the all-important licence for new owners to continue this. In fact, the house is being sold as a going concern with everything included – all furniture, fittings and business oriented items to enable new owners to move in immediately or carry on with the rental business. The current owners also have a website for the rental as well as all the information related to marketing.

Whilst the house is a good earner it could also easily work as a permanent home for year round living or as the perfect holiday home for use when not being rented to guests.

The layout of the 97M2 house…

The house is entered via double doors from the street into a spacious lounge-dining room with plenty of room for relaxing and a rustic dining table seating four.

The light and bright room is lit by two full length French windows with shutters leading to small, flower-bedecked, Juliet balconies overlooking the street below.

The kitchen is of a very good size for a village house and includes an electric fan oven and vitro ceramic hob plus a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, a Nespresso machine, microwave and all the usual small electrical appliances.

A flight of steep, narrow stairs leads to the next floor and a landing from which you access the bathroom – small but perfectly formed and completely refitted with a shower, WC and washbasin.

Off the landing is a door to the master bedroom, a stunning and light room with an impressive four poster bed (150cm) and a further full length French window with shutters and a Juliet balcony.

This room also has a double wardrobe, dressing table, mirror and floor standing ‘silent’ fan.

It must be emphasised that leading from the master bedroom is a door to the second bedroom – that is to say to access the second bedroom you must pass through the first. This is extremely common in village houses in Spain.

Both rooms are entirely self contained but the occupants of the second bedroom will have to go through the master bedroom to the bathroom. It is important to be clear about this, but for family and good friends holidaying together this has not been an issue.

The second bedroom has a lower ceiling height but is of a good size. It also has a large double bed (150cm) and blackout curtains instead of shutters. There is a quaint old built in wardrobe and a dressing table with mirror.

A door from the master bedroom opens to the final flight of stairs, again steep and narrow. These stairs lead to the upper landing off which is a large storage/utility room housing the washing machine and also a drinks fridge with an icebox to make it easy to enjoy relaxing in the evenings on the glorious roof terrace.

The 17M2 roof terrace is the jewel in the crown. Here you will find sufficient space for relaxing and enjoying the evening air or topping up your tan, accompanied by a glass of wine or an excellent Spanish beer, with the buzz of village life around you and the stunning Guadalhorce Valley spread out in front of you.

The terrace offers an incredible view across the valley, the surrounding mountains, and down to Malaga and the Mediterranean. It is the perfect place to relax and catch up on your day, maybe after having enjoyed an evening meal in one of the many village restaurants you can walk to from the property.

For sun worshippers there are a couple of loungers available to flop out and catch a few rays. The emphasis of the terrace is on a relaxing social space to chill out and marvel at the good fortune that brought you to this most wonderful part of Spain.

This home offers a huge amount to new owners – here is our pick of the bunch…

Casarabonela

The location is perfect for exploring this popular village and the glorious countryside that surrounds it.

Casarabonela is home to around 2,500 people, many of whom live in the surrounding countryside. This is an agricultural community with the emphasis being on the production of olives, citrus fruit and almonds. The olives and olive oil produced here are of exceptional quality. Traditionally Casarabonela has also been famous for its mineral water served by a network of mountain springs. Peppered around the pueblo you will find the various ‘fuentes’ dispensing water from the mountain springs so fill up your bottles there instead of buying from the supermarket!

The village may be small but it has a big heart!

Everything you will require can be found locally… there are two banks, several bars and restaurants, a pharmacy, a doctor’s surgery, dentist, mini markets, butcher/fishmonger/greengrocer, myriad small shops for pretty much everything you can think of.

Casarabonela is located within the Sierra de las Nieves natural park and is a popular destination for people wanting to explore the unspoiled countryside, wildlife and scenery. However, it is not isolated and Malaga city and airport is less than 50km with a choice of coastal destinations easily reached by car.

Equally popular is the nearby “Caminito del Rey”, the stunning turquoise-blue lakes at El Chorro/Ardales and many natural attractions.

This charming house has been priced to sell and the combination of a beautifully presented house, the option for continuing the rental business and the location in this sought-after village mean it will be popular with buyers. If you would like to speak directly to the owners, drop us an e-mail and we will introduce you.
